I'd like to use Wrinkle Plus on an aluminum valve cover. Apart from using an aluminum-friendly primer, is there anything else I need to know?

You'll want to scuff the valve cover with a Scotch Brite pad and thoroughly clean it before any painting. We suggest using the Dupli-Color Prep Spray (PS100) to clean/degrease. Once it is clean, we recommend using our Engine Primer (SP148) before applying the Wrinkle Plus.
For tips on how to get a nice uniform wrinkled finish, check out the Wrinkle Plus forum post from "fxl8r".
